Our wonderful West Auckland daycare centre
Henderson Valley Private Kindergarten is a family-owned and operated kindergarten located in the tranquil Henderson Valley scenic reserve, far removed from noise and pollution.

It was established in 2010 as the second of two kindergartens owned by Norman and Jennifer; the original centre in Titirangi has been running for over 30 years. Our rural-based childcare in Henderson Valley offers a unique experience for children to receive quality education and care in a spacious, thoughtfully designed facility. Children also have the opportunity to engage with the natural world that our location affords us.
Hands-on experience with animals is a fantastic aspect of our kindy’s location and provides great learning. This exposure has been shown to have a direct, beneficial influence on children’s cognitive and physical development.
​We teach children from 18 months old, taking advantage of the natural environment to provide a well-rounded early childhood education in Henderson Valley.

Operating times are 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday. Part-day sessions are available.
Our teachers
At Henderson Valley Private Kindergarten relationships are at the heart of our teaching practice. We have a team of highly motivated, dedicated and experienced teachers. It is the teacher’s role to organize a stimulating and interesting learning environment and provide a caring, nurturing and supportive environment for children to learn and grow.

We place real importance on having a high number of teachers, above the recommendations from the Ministry of Education to allow for the highest supervision levels as well as enabling teachers to provide high-quality learning and experiences for the children.
